I have a question for some of you smart college graduates who think that driverless trucks are something that's on the horizon. What happens when highway accidents or detours happen. How will these trucks detour their designated routes and follow emergency officials orders and get back on their route without an experienced truck driver at the wheel. Not to mention the likelihood of hackers or terrorists gaining control of the rig and using it as a weapon of mass destruction. These driverless trucks are still decades away from being anywhere possibly feasible.
