Robots don't pay taxes, don't contribute to the economy, and don't replace the role of actual citizens... yet corporations keep deploying them because they're cheap, tireless assets. But you can't run a country where humans carry the entire tax load while companies scale profits with tax-free machines. That's economic self-sabotage. Eventually governments will have to step in... whether by regulating automation, taxing it, or restructuring the social contract because citizens aren't disposable, and no economy survives by pushing people aside for robots that give nothing back.
