I would say it's going to be like that forever. A.I needs reference to make a new thing. Human, on the other hand, can make something out of nowhere. So, the average A.I will always outperform average human since A.I can formulate something new from so many references in a short time, but, the most creative human will always beat the most creative A.I since human can invent something that hasn't been invented (and of course, can't be found on any reference at all).
