You sure don't seem to be aware at all of them. Self driving cars have clocked hundreds of thousands of miles driving unaided. They drive more salely than any human can on public roads. They don't rely on any one system but a combination, radar, gps, camera etc. The point isn't that the army will use self driving cars, it is to say that vehicles are already in use that don't need any human control at all. Seriously, update your knowledge on this subject before commenting with out of date ideas.
