It has nothing to do with AI. Experts have been tracking and predicting this for the past decade. It has to do with the huge wave of the incoming generation which outnumbers the job market. Just like the lack of houses, I chalk it up to overpopulation. And those that have a job, are holding on their’s because they know the market is bad.
Again, I chalk this all up to overpopulation.
