I think AI art generation would be good for on the go DnD sessions where the environment is changing or a GM needs to quickly throw together a setting or whatever it is for the session.
It’s a tool. It would be a good thing for art in general. However, to use it create artistic templates if you got a brain fart, let’s say have an ai generate a character pose for you ponder and think about whether it’s a good one or not for a character you draw. If it is good, then the artist can use the posing when they create their artwork.
If a writer has a block and needs to imagine a setting but can’t imagine it at the moment, ai art generation can give an idea of the setting being written about if setting is consistently changing throughout a chapter.
I think AI generation is a tool for creating an end product or finished art piece or whatever it could be, but it shouldn’t be completely AI generated. That is what some of the issues with AI art. There are people that use it to create a full item having it create the entire work instead of using it as a tool for their own ideas and creation processes to assist them with their work…
