Lets put aside the problems we propably are not gonna solve. This whole discussion is really interesting from a technical pov because because its only going to get better quality. The amount of artists not getting the amount of visibility they need or deserve is personally staggering.
Sure, an artist will probably be able to differentiate between art with "soul". But the average joe will not. Just take a look at all the people unironlicaly listening to ai music on spotify.
My point is: An artist not in the Top1% is going to struggle a lot with visibility due the high quality slob with good enough content. The average joe will probably not care.
How would you go with regulating this and not throwing the towel in the race with eg china?
Not an AI Bro but to assume some magical art thingy is going to keep artists afloat is childish and pretentiousness. Like a good wine, 90% of people will not care with the quality, if its going to get them drunk.
