Hopefully, i've seen attempt to make ethically trained AIs (using public domain images, and explicitly free-to-use licensed image). AI will probably get better and be able to make due with that. If people want the ai to replicate artstyles, we might need to create an ai that can generate it by itself following stylistic guidelines (given by text). All in all, I don't think it's going to go away, but at the very least complaints will.
