I love making art, but I do use AI to give myself ideas. I have a difficult time steering away from my current projects (my indie show and game idea) so I often generate images for dress designs or character designs, but it’s bullshit that people think were born with the talent. That idea is fucking stupid because you have to practice before you’re good at anything. I started out drawing cats looking like fucking fish, but now I can draw realistic fish and cats. It’s also incredibly offensive to people who work hard to draw nicely, because they’re basically saying that if you don’t draw good, you’re not talented. I know people who have amazing ideas but they can’t draw hands, or textured hair, or symmetrical eyes that well, but they’re still so talented, for what they can do. Artists aren’t superior in any way shape or form, and the fact that some people have this much of a fucking (BASICALLY) victim complex is just infuriating to me.
