So let me get this straight. You would not want self driving cars even if they are safer than a person? So lowering the number of deaths and injuries compared to human driving isn't a good enough reason? It would be impossible for the tech to be perfect, but better than human is a step forward in safety. Don't get me wrong I would prefer public transit.
