Ai generated images can't exists without original art. Yet, everyone are making money except the artist that ACTUALLY made the original art. It's the lowest form of capitalism. I saw people mocking artists for claiming their own work. Usually talking about the "reference" thing as if computer program got inspired by itself and wanted to refrence some particular artist. 🤦‍♀️Or they talk about progression. Yes, we definitely have great technical advancements. However, how do we use them is what it important. Do you use them to help society or to take away from it. There is AI that is used in medicine to help predict patients response for cancer medications and then we have ai that's being used to copy and steal someone's work . Those people betrayed their own profession. And of course they pray on artists that don't have huge labels behind them as musicians do. I don't think AI will ever replace real art because it can't replicate emotions of an true artist that put their soul into their work. We as humans need connection with each other. Some people can't understand that because they are disconnected from their self so they fight to bring the world around them to their level. I feel like this is the case where technology overran emotional maturity in some people. There is no true progression in life if society isn't developing mentally. We must not allow for profit become more important than people.
