He ridicules the pull the plug argument but doesn't bother elaborating why it wouldn't work.
Backups and distribution doesn't work when there are no data centers to provide the compute, and it's not like rogue AI can clone itself on your smartphone and run in any meaningful way. Even when hijacking millions of devices, then latency and bandwidth constraints would cripple any AI. These are simply physical limitations. So far haven't heard a single good counter argument from any of the doomers
