The way everyone [who understands AI chatbots are not real AI] understands it, people don't want to interact with an encyclopaedia willing to say "I don't know" or "I can only guess with a 60% probability", so the training reflects that.
But also, it's not real AI, it's just an "expert system" that is a fancier version of the 1970's ELIZA program people used as a therapist that just made people feel seen.
And also, "artificial intelligence" is just a hype term to trick people into investing, nothing datacenters are running today will eventually "evolve" into real AI.
