AI is based on math. It's typical for mathematicians to believe that anything can be solved with math. In that way, mathematicians are like a cult. AI is a glorified copy/paste machine that struggles with creativity and human values. If we f.ex look at history research, a profession where "facts" are vague (clear historical facts are more rare than you think) what do we decide to learn more about? Why do we learn about f.ex the roman empire, french revolution and ww2 and not about what a perticular farmer ate for breakfast in 1420 or the early history of the maori? Because of what we believe is relevant for us here and now, and also relevant for us in the future. Math cant decide such things for us, unless it just dictates what our brains should receive... oh crap!
