I’ve used ai to make art before, is it good? No, but giving credit is hard, and buying art is even harder. As someone who plays dnd sometimes I need something to represent a character for a moment and because of my lack of planning, ai “helped” illustrate my idea.
And I’ve borrowed images before without credit but it takes a long time. More time for better work from a person that I’m sharing with 3-5 people for a few minutes.
I’m still going to play with AI, but I’m not someone who makes ai posts claiming my “artistic skill” it’s a fun lil’ gizmo for screwing around. But I wouldn’t ever pay for it. As soon as ai has a consumer cost it’s out of my life.
