the video confuses current engineering problems with AV's vs. their actual urban planning implications. i would assume they can be made much safer than they are now. i also wouldn't assume they can travel infinitely fast or contribute much to air pollution, given many will probably be electric. i also wouldn't assume they will force pedestrians off the road; they might go quite slow. the only thing i would assume is that they will be autonomous. anything else is too speculative for my tastes.
