Strawman argument I see all the time. A better argument would be that art has no meaning except to the viewer and therefore ai art is no better or worse than regular art unless you believe it is. Also this value can be different depending on the circumstances the art was used for. Also, saying it is taking jobs from real artists you would also have to agree that most technology will take jobs from humans while also creating new ones. Also a side note but is AI art any more of a plagiarism machine than any human? We need to get inputs from what we see in the world, we do not generate ideas in a vacuum. Not saying I’m a fan of AI though.
