Currently most of these systems use bidirectional transform layers that are capable of completing prompts that include the "in the style of" features. This means they are capable of creating and verifying that a generated piece of content has a likeness to a specific pattern of data.
Given this, it is reasonable that the owners of these AI models should be forced to identify their art as AI generated and be required to pay a portion of their profits to the sources of the content style unless they are the creators of the products themselves or are already the owners of all similarly styled examples of such art that were themselves generated by humans.
