I do not have a degree and I work in tech. My employer is demanding new ideas to implement AI we already do for so many processes however they wanna automate as many more as possible. I am in the end user support side so I still have job security for a couple of more years since the current workforce still needs some assistance operating tech. Beyond having a degree there's something that such a title does not provide; attitude and qualities like that which need to come from within you. I have seen many recent graduates coming into the company with an ego way up high just because they got whatever degree you can think of so they think it is a privilege for the company to have them, they often don't bring sht to the table besides theory they learned and when it comes the time to get in action they simply do not make the cut mostly for attitude. U could have a lot of knowledge but that does not necessarily mean you're intelligent. Intelligent is whoever puts their knowledge to good use.
