Training large models with massive amounts of IP isn't ethically problematic. Your entire life bases on the same premise. Anything you say, do or create is an integral or derivative of some previous information you've gathered in your life.
Only when an AI "learns" from just a specific IP, it becomes ethically questionable, since the dependency from that singular IP is so large.
