The thing is that who ever uses this AI apps to create art to say that they are an artists is way more insulting, to the fact that they just prompt some words and "poof" iz done. But the point exactly as SamDoesArt pointed out is that companies who steals art are the ones making more of the money rather than the artists who devoted their time and effort on their work just to be stolen and altered in a way we can't sue for copyright infringement. Not saying it's all for the money but we share our works freely (though not to be used for anyone's profit) to share our talents and probably because it speaks of our thoughts and emotions for the moment and that's art.
