Arguing we must not build super intelligence because it might wipe humanity is such a silly proposition. Nobody is going to stop trying to build super intelligence exactly because they see super intelligence as the solution to our problems.
Another flaw in his logic is that he forgets there's still a possibility we can try to destroy all the hardware even if its much smarter than us.
A tetraplegic genius could still get taken out by a french bulldog, there's only so much intelligence can do. A super AGI can't magically make your toy robot with 128kb of memory suddenly become part of it's super army that can control all humans, it's still bound by the laws of physics.
