Because the AI isn't as useful as people thought it would be. The good use cases are the same they were in 2023, the scaling argument won't work. This is a failure and it won't succeed. Time to not build more data centers and rethink the whole research branch, because this is the limit of what the LLM path will give you. My suggestion: back to the basics, why do biological systems can do stuff without separating software and hardware and how to process stuff analogically. Our analogic technology has to evolve, and not be constantly turned digital. We are clearly missing something there.
