I personally have used AI art purely for entertainment purposes, save exactly one instance so I could take a character from my head and put it into a format other people could see, because, well... I'm not an artist 😅
I have no problems with people getting upset over their artstyle being stolen by the machines, because you know what? I wouldn't want my unique style being stolen hy other people for free use with the click of a button either. However, I think that ot does still have uses. I don't want it to replace human jobs, but I don't think to avoid that we have to ditch the medium altogether. Obviously misuse is a bad thing, but a great way to prevent misuse is better regulation. I'm not saying the system is even close to perfect, I'm just saying that perhaps we don't have yo ditch it altogether to get rid of the problems, perhaps there are other ways to fix it.
