The system designed to identify people with warrants is probably 1,000-times more accurate than handing officers a picture. Skin color has nothing to do with it, it has to do with the likelihood of you looking like someone who committed the crime. The other alternative is to just not look for people with warrants - to have a lawless society. Does facial recognition put me at ease? Yes. Does that mean I would rather it not be implemented to catch criminals? No. Does it matter who uses it and what their motives are? Absolutely.
