That was a useless report. Asking a) companies who make the AI models b) companies trying to sell to others courses/support to adopt AI c) talking to publicly listed tech companies who would never dream to tell the truth lest that impacts their share price means a completely rose tinted report. Reality is the tools can be useful but it is no ways near the panacea these companies are touting. I use it for coding and every model can end up in a massive rabbit hole going round in circles trying to do what you ask. If you prompt correctly and limit the scope appropriately it can drive productivity but equally can lead to waste of significant time only to throw it all away and start again.
Will LLMs ever be what they claim. No. Can it be useful. Yes. It’s an other tool. But to listen to everyone here you would think it’s a miracle just waiting to unlock riches for the company and potential headaches for you.
