It's alarming how little attention is paid to the societal impact of AI. If machines can produce goods without human labor, the old system of wages, consumption, and production collapses. Without income, there's no purchasing power—despite abundance. We should rethink work: not as a necessity for income, but as a means of provision, now possible through automation. But that requires major redistribution and a new economic mindset. Instead, we risk a split: a few benefit, many are left behind. Without social correction, we're heading toward serious conflict.
