the biggest problem is AI is not self correcting.
developers see the error (not perfectly but they at least do
with an ai you need to explain the error and even then it micht not be able to fix the underlying problem and simply adds another layer to the process to offset the issue.
AI assisted programming (more advanced auto completion setting up repetitive codes like loops) is defenetely a benefit. anything more then that and it becomes a problem.
