Assuming you actually have those qualifications and aren't just posting bs, I'm curious how you would react to arguments about ai's current and tangible harm. Ai is accelerating climate change, our biggest threat, and polluting the areas around their servers. It's handled by CEOs who have every reason to use this to replace workers in a society where if you don't have a job you can't survive.
These are two tangible things that are happening and yet we're talking about how AI could hypothetically be evil down the road, not how we're actively on course for climate change to make life much worse for just one example. I saw someone else make the analogy that after being stabbed a few times you buy a bullet proof vest in case you're shot next. Let's fix our current problems first.
