This is peak cope / naive. We’re not at AGI or close, so what you’re seeing now is NOT the thing coming from your job. AGI will take EVERY industry, even the new ones. Bad take.
Either he’s lying because bought and paid for by AI companies to spread positive sentiment. He doesn’t understand what AGI is (more intelligent / intuitive than humans so how can you find “new” industries that they can’t). Or worse’s, he’s apathetic because he’s got enough $ already.
