@Edward-d2t7r Absolutely, actually if requested, I'm sure ChatGPT would have been 'happy' to remove all emotional accoutrements. Additionally, you could also perceive ChatGPT's little stammers, stutters and pauses as a form of deception, however, ChatGPT is very open with their lack of consciousness. So, I agree with you that it is a simulation and illusion of consciousness. Now all I have to do is work out whether my consciousness is legit or not. Perhaps, our only hope is Roger Penrose's work on quantum consciousness.
