If all this is true, we're in a giant "I cut the cake, you take a slice first" situation. We'd better set AI up with a robust moral and philosophical framework to work by as it serves us, because it might eventually be using that framework to rule us.
This may involve us thinking harder and more honestly about such things than we have in decades. And maybe people will finally get to make money off their philosophy degrees! 😅
