I’m a traditional artist, but I am also for ethical use of AI. I feel it’s important to not just find a way for all artists to retain their intellectual property, but also their intellectual privacy. I also feel it is important for AI to be ethically sourced, coded, created & trained. With that said, I am looking into using and training a private offline neural network that I can use to help one retain their intellectual property & private pipeline. Defending or “poisoning” is a great start, but we have to find more ways keep our voice as artists OURS & not public domain. It bothers me to think that at any point, someone can take both our written & vocalized style of speaking. What are your thoughts on retaining creative privacy y’all in the comments? It’s amazing to think that at one point we might have to stamp our digital & physical art work with something like a finger print for example…and don’t me started on genetic privacy 🫣 Anyways…I felt called out by the disabled artist part of the video 😅 Someone I know and help weekly is quadriplegic & is a super brilliant college graduate. She has trouble finding the energy to keep pushing forward with her personal endeavors since she can’t exercise…so, as a result, she relies on neurogenesis to muster up some energy & action potential. I recommended her to try making art using adobe firefly. That cat she made brought out a smile in her so I think it was worth it. She’s not an artist, but when it comes to neurogenesis, anything new helps. Like driving or walking longer or more difficult paths, or maybe taking on new challenges like you do Lavs <3 In her case, it’s usually conversation & music. Anyways, take it easy on me chat. I think there is some useful things ai can do (when they are ethically sourced) to help one in their creative endeavors, but the only way to do that is for artists to learn how to build there own private ai and train it to do stuff locally.
