When AI first started, I thought it was a really cool novelty tool. I didn't see the problems with it that Artists had, I didn't understand the hate. But as the years went on, AI has plagued the internet, completely getting rid of the internet I used to love to browse for original art, and admiring what people create. Now AI just puts out this brainrot "art" with random deformities and just hurts actual artists. It steals from their style, from their own original artworks, and plagues the art space so much that the actual original artist gets drowned out in the sea of AI slop. I'm an aspiring artist. I struggle a lot to keep focus, and I struggle to keep motivation. It's something I've been dealing with my whole life. I'm not the best at art, and I rarely do it anymore because I just don't feel confident. And it really makes me feel so emotional. I've had to deal with this chronic loss of motivation and confidence my whole life, and AI takes that lack of confidence and throws it further in the trash. Because something made through AI will never be human, it will never have substance, or actual emotion behind it. You won't know the hardships an artist went through a new piece they just made, how they challenged themselves with new poses or new tricks. None of that is there. There is no emotion. It tarnishes the vision of art. I'm really emotional about this topic now because of how much I've struggled to even try to make art yet people are using some dumb fucking tool to "make art" and then claim it as their own. And then say that they "MADE" it. It's disgusting.
