How real actually is the "giant money to be made"? If the narrative is taken to the extreme and Humans do nothing and AI does it all, the "capitalism" stops from exist, so where is the government getting the money from? No one works, money is given to everyone (I imagine through a digital currency, where the money is like monopoly money) and no one pays taxes.... so the money the companies are sure to be making is actually their own money be given away and them returning back to them... where is "all the money to be made" coming from as there is no market? AI in the way is being projected is not a profitable tool when it's fully applied to all parts of society. They are comparing it to the industrial revolution but several orders of magnitude bigger.... the difference I see is that the industrial revolution brought wealth and advancements to everyone but no-one stopped working (aka, producing something of value) and trade never stopped. In the current vision, Humans become "worthless" and are in the planet to consume what AI will make with the money coming from the 2 or 3 companies that own all AI systems. If everything becomes "free", what is "all the money" this owners will "earn" be for? To buy things between them? A bit like the end stage of the monopoly game where two or three players already have all the properties with hotels and the game ends up being played by trying to stay in jail for as long as possible so the other player that is still doing laps runs out of money?! Is this what everyone in the area is competing for and throwing money at? Wow!! That is really an amazing objective!!! What a good use of your brains
