This man a perfect example of someone so obsessed with doing a thing they never stopped to see what the impact of that thing would be.
I'm confident that there were people that asked him if he should do this and he was dead to them. I'm a PM.
4 years ago an engineer came to me and showed me how he can automate 90% of his job. I told him that it was neat he could do it and advise against it.
He didn't listen and 1 year after his success he was let go.
As for being a plumber or electrician as a start over profession. Ha! Good luck with that. It's a closed group. Learn all of it you want but if they won't let you apprentice you don't get certified so no job and you can't start your own business either. At 32 I spent 2 years trying to get in. Not a single one would let me in. They all wanted 18-22 years olds.
