Typically all copyrighted material is allowed for fair use as in - personal learning, classroom use and citation. But commercial use is not one of them. Also. I as an individual am allowed to learn from 10 books of the same author, but it won’t give me the right to copy that author in toto and sell the output thereof as my original creation. By copying and imitating copyrighted material, these AI engines are in gross violation of copyright act and must be penalized as such.
