He mentions that the AI can create an exact replica of famous art pieces, I've been working with AI generators for almost a year now and have never seen an AI replicate another artists piece of art exactly. It's never the same image. I've tried to see if I could get it to do that and have never been successful. I agree that it was completely unethical the way they collected the data set to train the AI models. And I don't have a good answer to fix that problem. I feel there is going to need to be some legal action to get things a little more organized. What I see though is that the genie is out of the box and we are not going to be able to put it back in. We are currently in an AI revolution and we are going to see some explosive changes in the next five years that is going to leave many industries disrupted, not just the art community. ChatGPT is going to destroy knowledge based industries. We are going to have to figure out what jobs look like in an AI world. I'm already working with my wife using chat GPT to provide a teacher's assistant for students of all ages. As a teacher's assistant, it will never get upset or impatient. It understands things at an incredibly deep level and is creative. It's scary, I agree. I'm also excited for what this means for our society as a whole. I thing we are on the cusp of a new Renaissance in human history.
