I always preffered that ai art shouldnt be used as the idea maker and artist, but rather as just the artist for people who just cant draw, like i know people who try for months to get better at drawing and make pretty much no process (me being one of them) this might be a "garbage take" for some but i think it isnt that bad if you have an idea but cant put that idea into reality because you just suck at it. On the other hand, it makes sense that if you write "draw an ghost" the ai will give an generic blanket ghost, instead it should be used so if you have an interesting idea you dont have to spend decades getting the needed talent, money, etc. And can instead give the prompt in as much detail as possible and at that point i think its okay again. In my opinion it depends on how detailed the prompt is, and how much of the result has been thought up by you. Ai art should be a tool, not the "artist" im gonna call it for now. (even though "prompt writer" fits better i'd say)
