Perhaps add a cheap flashing red bicycle light to the centre of the cruiser bike, under the seat or back of the helmet, for those lonely night rides? Weaving side to side might be a hazard, but a bicycle light may trigger safer responses from the a.i. system. I don’t know if it’s a solution, might be questionable from a legal standpoint… just an idea. 🤷♂️
