I thought that was the goal. Robots doing everything while we are free to be human. Time with family hobbies. Regular life without stress and hardship of work and worry of losing everything. Thats why we made computers, cars heaters literally everything, so we didnt have to do it. To automate that to free up more time for me, or them. I thought thats what weve been striving towards for thousands of years.
