AI can't replace art. But only a few pictures are created for the purpose of being art. Most are for decoration that nobody critiques or even looks at closely, or twice. Even for YouTube videos there is a whole lot of content that is made to fall asleep to. Why would people care if it was done by humans, when they are not even conscious while consuming it. Unfortunately, a lot of artists make a living creating things that nobody ever actually appreciates as pieces of art. Who cares about that pic on the packaging that goes into the garbage. Not most people. So, the jobs most artists need to do for a living, may actually some day be done by AI. Even if art itself isn't replaced by AI. Question is, how to make a living from art, then?
