The humanoid robot is the most versatile robot to replace human labor. A Dog-like robot or other robot form-factor might be better at some tasks but will lack the versatility of a humanoid robot and have limited utility. This versatility will allow mas production of this form-factor to lower the cost and accelerate the deployment of these robots. To eliminate the need for human labor in all the forms of human physical labor exists, the humanoid form factor is the ideal, most versatile, and most effective form factor. This doesn’t preclude other form factors for specific types of tasks, but the human form factor will most likely be the most dominant form factor.
