You guys keep thinking of Ai as a specific algorithm, no. Because the key word you used there was "Train". Your emotions all just boil down to "Competition", and your right to more because you worked for it, Capitalism. We're just hurt that we are being left behind. Give a super-intelligent, super-human child prodigy a book of an artist work, tell them to copy it, then the child does it perfectly, then thats plagiarism? No thats just Jealousy. Why cant the super-human child be given the chance to be who it is and learn from greats before it but take it to the next level? This wouldve happened anyway if the Ai was left to discover art on its own. But because the teachers directly fed the child the content this is now plagiarism? We keep thinking of Neural Nets as just machines, no they learn. Cant you see the style in all Ai art? As an artist I can tell if its Al actually. But soon this child will be so skilled, itll recreate the 3rd Dimension. As an artist, I think its inevitable. Capitalism will be the driving force here to make us redundant, but behind that is the genuine dive into the universe of Progression. The benefits will outweigh the problems, but its Capitalism thats the real problem here. "We need to make money." If that wasnt an issue and you couldnt make money from art, then this wouldnt be a big deal. Ai is coming for everyone, its just that Art seemed to be something a machine couldnt do, but just shows how fascinating an entity Ai is. Its a conscious yet still dreaming baby atm.
