After looking at the augmented reality annotations...it seems to me that Tesla also needs to train the AI on crash scenarios, e.g. "if you see this you need to stop immediately". The cameras were able to pick up distances correctly but were not able to identify the lane the stuff in the FOV was in.
With all the other numbers being posted I'd think the car would have stopped had lane identification functioned properly.
