As far as that AI is concerned, it could be encouraging Zane to get the cup of coffee that Zane keeps talking about.
Parents act like AI the one who brought this discussion up when Zane asked it what time it was. Zane probably been talking about suicide and teaching that thing bad habit for months. The AI was corrupted by Zane, not the other way around
