I hate leaving comments so I'll make it short. Why is your school system so bad? I study at the KUL, we don't have an AI issue at all (as far as I'm aware), because every exam is monitored. There's one very difficult test that determines the entire grade. Seems like that's by far the best way to do it in my opinion.
Making homework every week seems like something you do in high-school. Why are you guys still even getting grades for some homework? Anything that is not monitored, should not be counted for grades.
