I consider my mom a normie, and she listens to those trash AI slop story videos with the AI story/voice/art. I'm an animator, I make a living off my art. When we went out to lunch one day she suggested using AI to help my work and its hard not to feel hopeless. I barely get by and even though my entire family will say how talented I am, it really tells me how much they actually think artists like me are worth when they us AI
