i feel u, random commenter. but not just about art, about any/every skill. not backing ai art tho, necessarily. but when i want something out of my head where i can see it, and i obviously can't draw it myself, and have no money to pay skilled artists to do it for me, i occasionally arrive at ai art. but i keep it for me, and me only, because i have no talents and no money to give to people with talents. the issue with ai art being so... everywhere... is that people who do have funds, and could be paying artists for their service, choose to do the free ai art instead for something quick and easy. does this make me a hypocrite? yeah, probably, and yes, it does bother me, but i try to make up for it by not generating ai art a lot, and again, doing it just when i want to see something i can't make myself.
