They are reactive. How do we become pro-active in this paradigm shift? A step into a new (but old) reality is to move to a "community structure" that moves away from an ownership driven system; but not into a communist nor facetious system. Capitalism, Communism, Oligarchies, Dictatorship, and Fascism are systems at the extremes. A goal to move away from these extremes is the direction. With the help of AI assists, we can move in moderating directions. Feeding a dying system delays a future that enables a better tomorrow. We must take advantage of the AI assistant tools, and harvest their benefits to produce a "growing community" structure, The goals of government are two fold: guarantee the survival of the citizen nation, and promote a process of continued growth for all of its citizens, throughout their entire life span. Clear statements that make these concepts visible must be included in our foundational documents. Waving hands to say "these goals are there indirectly" only allows them to be subverted to other purposes. "Human manufacturing" is a collapsing structure. Even national military defense will be outsourced to robots and AI. So we must focus on human-to-human systems, i.e. focused on human growth, be that via education and other creative avenues, incorporating within limited physical resources. While AI is capable of producing variation replications calling them creative, current AI lacks the ability to discover non-clustered relationships. Truly creative products are currently only achieved by creative humans. The paradigm shift is in progress, we need a vision that gives direction to the future. The exact results of this vision may not be achieved, but as someone has pointed out, Without a vision, any vision will do and we may end up in a worse place.
